Shaped like the iconic fan, Mandarin Oriental, Singapore is a five-star luxury hotel in Marina Bay. Only minutes from the central business district and with a choice of fabulous restaurants and fantastic rooms, they are the ultimate urban retreat.
Leave the city behind as we head north to Mandai and visit one of the world’s top and most beautiful zoos.
The Singapore Zoo* is spread over 28 hectares and is haven to over 3,600 mammals, birds and reptiles, including some rare and endangered species.
Natural barriers like streams, rock walls and beautiful landscaping are used to separate the animals from visitors thus creating an ‘open zoo’ effect.
Come and experience a close brush with nature from the comfort of your Tram, and on foot.
Housed in a stunning 1927 heritage building, the luxury hotel in Yangon was originally established as the New Law Courts for British Burma, this architectural gem has been meticulously
restored to incorporate every contemporary amenity and comfort while simultaneously preserving the essence and splendor of the building’s storied past.
Your excursion begins with a tour through Yangon city. Starting from colonial-style city center and one of the landmarks, SULE PAYA stupa – built over 2,000 years ago and the focal point of numerous historical events in the city,
CHAUK HTAT GYI pagoda to view its magnificent reclining Buddha, and KARAWEIK HALL to marvel at the uniquely decorated “hamsa-bird-shaped” on KANDAWGYI (ROYAL) LAKE.
We visit BOGYOKE (SCOTTS) MARKET, where hundreds of gemstones, handicrafts, art, clothes and food stores are tucked in a maze of colour. We complete the day with a visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments,
the SHWEDAGON PAGODA, a gold covered bell dome structure that dominates the city’s skyline. Legend has it that strands of sacred Buddha’s hair are enshrined here. The Shwedagon is an iconic symbol of the country, a sight not to be missed.
Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
