DAY 1 – WELCOME TO LONDON

On arrival into this great city, make your way to your hotel for a 2-night stay. The countless restaurants in London’s West End make it a great place to enjoy your first evening of this amazing rail vacation. (Overnight London)

DAY 2 – LONDON

The 1-Day London Pass included gives you the best opportunity to enjoy all this great city has to offer. Use the Hop-on-Hop-off pass included to get around, and its recommended to get to the Shard between 10am -12:00 to avoid the queues up to The View from the Shard from where you’ll get the greatest view of the city. Shakespeare’s Globe theatre is nearby, as is the Tower of London, both of which are included in the London Pass. The countless restaurants in London’s West End mean it’s a great place to enjoy your final evening of this amazing rail holiday. DAY 3 – LONDON TO AMSTERDAM

DAY 4 – AMSTERDAM

Explorer one of the world’s greatest museums today with your fast track tickets to the Rijksmuseum. You also get to view the city from the best view point, aboard a Canal boat. Ann Franks house is a poignant visit and be sure to keep an eye out for the cyclists who dominate the city. (Overnight Amsterdam) B

DAY 5 – AMSTERDAM TO BERLIN

Cross Germany today on the comfortable IC train to Berlin. On arrival check in to your hotel, then perhaps take a wander to the impressive Reichstag and the iconic Brandenburg Gate for a great photo opportunity. (Overnight Berlin) B

DAY 6 – BERLIN

Today visit the fascinating DDR museum to get a better understanding of Berlins past, then perhaps soak up some of the world’s riches in the nearby Pergamon museum. Don’t forget to check out the infamous Checkpoint Charlie, whilst a trip up to Bernauer Strasse is highly recommended to get a true taste of what the Berlin Wall was. (Overnight Berlin) B

DAY 7 – PRAGUE

Take the direct train to Prague which passes through Dresden. Begin taking advantage of your Prague Card as soon as you arrive, which you can collect on your own from the Tourist Information Centre in Old Town. Steeped in history and with a wide variety of attractions, this not-so-hidden gem continues to impress visitors from all over the world. With free entry to the top attractions, such as Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, the Jewish Museum, Old Town Hall, and Petrin Observation Tower, it’s the best way to see the city. DAY 8 – PRAGUE

DAY 9 – PRAGUE TO MUNICH

DAY 10 - MUNICH

The Town Hall with its famous Glockenspiel which re-enacts two stories from the 16th century is a must as is a wander through the gorgeous Englischer Garten. DAY 11 – MUNICH TO BUDAPEST

DAY 12 - BUDAPEST
